HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--K9s4COPS Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of 2012’s first quarter K9 Roll Call. The following law enforcement agencies have been awarded K9s for their departments.
- Harris County Sheriff’s K9 Unit has been awarded 6 Dual Purpose K9s trained in narcotics and patrol.
- Harris County Constable Precinct 4 K9 Unit has been awarded 1 Single Purpose K9 trained in narcotics.
- Houston Police Department K9 Unit has been awarded 2 Patrol K9s and 1 K9 trained in explosives.
These awards fall on our first year anniversary, when K9s4COPS Inc. made its first gift of four K9s to Harris County Sheriff’s department at Commissioner’s Court. Due to numerous requests we have established the Quarterly K9s4COPS Roll Call, announcing our new awardees.
