Medical Device Veteran, Brian Farley, Joins DFINE Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--DFINE, Inc., the developer of minimally invasive radiofrequency (RF) targeted therapies for the treatment of vertebral pathologies, today announced the appointment of Brian Farley to the company’s board of directors, effective March 9, 2012.

Farley has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device arena. He presently serves as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Entellus Medical and serves as Chairman of the Board for Neuronetics Inc., a private medical company focused on the non-invasive treatment of drug-resistant depression. He is also a member of the advisory board for the Purdue University Biomedical Engineering Department.

Before joining Entellus, Farley spent more than a decade as president and CEO of VNUS Medical Technologies, where he led the company through a successful initial public offering prior to its eventual sale to Covidien in 2009. Prior to VNUS, Farley held various management and executive positions at DVI, Guidant Corporation and Eli Lilly and Company.
