Busted Buggy Entertainment, LLC and Sunside Films Commence Feature Film Production for Magic Hour

College graduate meets crime family, California style in the 90’s

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.--()--Busted Buggy Entertainment, LLC, in association with Sunside Films commenced principal shooting on the feature film, Magic Hour, on location in Newport Beach, CA mid-February and will wrap late March. Dan Cunningham is producing for Busted Buggy Entertainment along with co-producers Bryan Chesin, Lysa Oldhams and Matt Marzulo.

Director/Writer Cole Mueller has teamed up with Busted Buggy to tell the story of a young man that falls in the local crime family in Venice Beach in the early 90’s. The cast includes Trevor Morgan (The Patriot) who plays Ray, a 22 year-old who graduates college and moves to Venice Beach for the summer but falls in with the Fox family. Family members include Kris Lemche (Final Destination 3), William Russ (American History X, Boy Meets World) and Josh Emerson (Jennifer’s Body). A new star on the scene, Courtney Daniels, will play Emerson’s longtime girlfriend in her feature film debut.

Magic Hour is the second film written and directed by Mueller. His first film, Green Guys, was just released by FilmWorks Entertainment.

Busted Buggy Entertainment is an innovative production company working in television, film, and transmedia platforms. Magic Hour is BBE’s first feature film, with several projects in development for both film and television.
