RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--C2 Solutions Group, Inc. is pleased to announce it is among a select number of service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) that have been awarded the five-year extension option on the GSA’s Veterans Technology Services (VETS) GWAC.
VETS is a small-business set-aside government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) for SDVOSBs that provide customized IT solutions. VETS has a $5 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option.
C2 is among a small number of companies awarded the five-year contract extension. In 2007, C2 was among only 42 companies out of more than 400 applicants originally awarded the VETS contract, and among an even smaller number awarded the contract in both Functional Areas (FA1 and FA2): Systems Operations and Maintenance and Information Systems Engineering.
“We are thrilled to have been awarded the extension on this important contract that emphasizes the good work being done by service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, while at the same time helps agencies meet SDVOSB set-aside goals” said Gary Shumaker, President of C2. “We look forward to helping agencies across government continue to exceed mission objectives with the addition of our IT- and program-management expertise.”
