NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Involved Media, a leading social advertising platform that provides digital media advertising technology and managed services across Facebook, Twitter and the social web, has appointed Jonathan Penn as Senior Vice President of National Sales. Penn is primarily responsible for managing all advertiser sales and account functions, including customer experience and expansion efforts. Based in New York City, he will report to Neal Weinberg, Managing Partner and Founder of Involved Media.

With more than 13 years of experience in the digital industry and a solid reputation among his peers and digital decision makers, Penn most recently served as Vice President of National Sales for Magnetic, a search retargeting company. Jonathan helped catapult the firm from a small data provider to a leader in search retargeting. In addition to hiring, training and growing a young sales team, he was responsible for helping it to become profitable by signing on blue chip advertisers with large commitments for both awareness and direct response initiatives.
Prior to joining Magnetic, Penn was Director of Sales at AT&T Ad Works where he helped create the East Coast ad sales team. He began his career as Account Executive working at both Doubleclick and theglobe.com. Penn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
In addition to hiring Penn, Involved Media also recently appointed two Advisory Board members. Andy Ellenthal, Chief Executive Officer of Peer39 and Anthony Katsur, Chief Operating Officer of Maxifier will assist the team.
