FORT MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LTC Global, Inc., a leading national distributor of Long Term Care insurance and the leading purchaser of Long Term Care insurance commissions, announced today that Richard Pitbladdo has been elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2012.
Pitbladdo was LTC Global’s original CEO from its founding in 2002 until 2004, and has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since 2004. He will replace Thomas Skiff, who is stepping down as President and Chief Executive Officer at the end of the year. David Yost, who joined LTC Global in 2004 and has been the company’s Treasurer since 2007, will succeed Pitbladdo as Chief Financial Officer.
LTC Global co-founder Mark Dinsmore said, “The board wants the company to become more disciplined and focused on the higher margin businesses that were developed in the company’s early years. After briefly considering outside candidates, we quickly came to the conclusion that Richard was the right person for the job, and we are delighted that he agreed to return to the CEO role. We wish Tom the best in his future endeavors.”
Pitbladdo said, “We have the tools we need to grow our most profitable business lines, and I look forward to executing on the board’s desire for a more focused company. I have a great deal of confidence in Dave Yost’s competence and leadership. I expect a seamless transition to his role as CFO.”
Yost is a licensed CPA and CMA. Prior to joining LTC Global he was Chief Financial Officer of Raybor Management, Inc. He holds an MBA from Webster University.
Pitbladdo has 15 years of insurance industry experience with John Hancock, GE Capital and LTC Global.
