MIDLAND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Easi-Set Worldwide announced that its Easi-Set/Easi-Span Building line successfully passed the UL 752 Level-5 ballistic test. MGA Research Corporation, of Manassas, Virginia, performed the test using a NATO 7.62x51 mm, round fired at the standard 3” thick building wall panel. All four tests in the procedure were successful. Level- 5 provides protection for personnel or equipment from many forms of small arms fire.
This test enables licensed Easi-Set producers to provide high-level bullet resistant structures to government agencies in support of their needs during this time of heightened security. Easi-Set buildings are the only line of precast buildings in North America having a Level-5 rating for standard walls.
According to Jeremy Smith, Deputy Director of Easi-Set, “The UL 752 standard helps us demonstrate the bullet resistant properties of our products. This can be an important feature for many of our customers, especially those with special security concerns –including government agencies.” Easi-Set Worldwide continues to lead the Nation in providing the highest-quality, best known brand of precast concrete buildings through new and innovative research and development.
