OREM, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global learning solutions provider Agilix Labs today announces that its BrainHoney LMS was named "Best Classroom Management System" and "Best K-12 Course or Learning Management Solution" in the Software & Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 26th Annual CODiE Awards.
Out of 425 nominated products in the education category, 30 winners were recognized for their outstanding products and services developed specifically for the K-20 market. BrainHoney LMS competed in a finalist round against Blackboard Learn Release 9.1 and Pearson’s PowerTeacher 2.0, finally winning the top spot as Best Classroom Management System.
Based on an open technology architecture and concepts of differentiated instruction, concept mastery, and ease of use, BrainHoney LMS works seamlessly across classroom, blended and virtual learning environments.
“Digital technology has already changed the way we live, and our goal is to develop powerful solutions that balance the needs of both students and educators to create dynamic, easy-to-use tools that change the way our students learn,” said Mark Luetzelschwab, PhD, senior vice president of Agilix Labs. “By using technology to solve the many challenges today’s educators face, we can give every student in America a tailor-made education.”
Now in its 26th year, the CODiE Awards continue to recognize companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries.
“The large amount of growth seen in nominations across numerous education technology categories reflects companies’ commitment to providing innovative, robust solutions that help to increase student achievement and more broadly, the education industry as a whole,” noted SIIA President Ken Wasch. “On behalf of SIIA, I’m proud to congratulate these 30 winners and look forward to watching the education technology industry continue to evolve.”
The 425 nominated products and services were first reviewed by third-party judges, whose evaluations determined the 113 finalists. SIIA members then reviewed these finalists and voted to select the winners. A complete listing of winners is now available on the CODiE Awards Website at www.siia.net/CODiEs.
