Leading Dedicated Photo Sharing Site adds VPs of Product, Marketing and Sales to Support Rapid Growth & Drive Product Innovation

DENVER--()--Photobucket Corporation, the world’s leading dedicated photo and video sharing service, continues to grow at a rapid pace and is supporting this growth with the expansion of its leadership team. Today the company is announcing three new executive hires: Kate Hare, vice president of products; David Toner, vice president of marketing; and Allison Zweig, vice president of global branded sales. These industry veterans will drive innovation across all product and partner initiatives as Photobucket prepares to unveil several significant enhancements to its platform.

Kate Hare, vice president of products, comes to Photobucket with more than 15 years of experience delivering award-winning products and building strong product organizations for some of the world’s most successful companies. Prior to Photobucket, she led product management and user experience for Webroot Software’s 2011 consumer release, which garnered PC Magazine’s highly coveted Editor’s Choice award. Hare also served as vice president of product management for Lumension Security where she built a high-performing product team from the ground-up. In addition, she was an integral part of the Sage Software product team that delivered the award-winning ACT! Software for the desktop, mobile and web. Throughout her career, she also held product leadership positions at Apple, Inc. and Oracle Corporation and led product management for Khimetrics through its successful acquisition by SAP.

“Photobucket’s philosophy of engaging with users to shape the product strategy is what attracted me to the company,” said Hare. “This will allow me to combine my expertise in both user experience and product innovation to deliver a complete and unique experience for our customers’ digital content.”

Also joining the executive team as the vice president of marketing is David Toner, who brings 18 years of brand stewardship, integrated marketing communications and partner management experience to Photobucket. Toner brings extensive traditional, digital and mobile marketing experience working at industry leading companies, such as CBS Interactive, Yahoo!, Dell Inc and BBDO while working with partners including AT&T, British Telecom, Rogers Communications and others. As VP of marketing, Toner will be responsible for brand management, audience development, and all strategic marketing initiatives for the company.

“Photobucket is the category leader, delivering value to tens of millions of users over the years. Our goal now is to deliver an integrated, cross-platform experience enabling our users to create, share, and discover dynamic digital content at anytime, whether they are on a computer or on a mobile device,” said Toner. “Enabling creative and personal expression will continue to be our brand promise to our users and the market.”

In addition to Hare and Toner, Allison Zweig, a former AOL executive and 14-year veteran of interactive marketing and digital advertising has joined the company as vice president of global branded sales.
