CHANHASSEN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Datalink Corporation (NASDAQ: DTLK), a leading provider of data center solutions and services, today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of common stock at a public offering price of $5.75 per share. The underwriters exercised, in full, their option to purchase up to an additional 556,500 shares to cover over-allotments, resulting in a total sale of 4,266,500 shares of common stock. Of the 4,266,500 shares, Datalink sold 3,306,500 shares and the selling shareholder sold 960,000 shares. The net proceeds from the sale of the shares to Datalink, after underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are approximately $17.4 million. Datalink intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for potential acquisitions of other businesses that will complement its current business model and growth plans. Any amount of the net proceeds of this offering not used for acquisitions will be used for general corporate purposes. Datalink did not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling shareholder.
Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC and Canaccord Genuity Inc. acted as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
