RadiumOne Expands Globally, Appoints Rupert Staines as Managing Director, Europe

Former ValueClick Director and Specific Media Senior Vice President Will Lead New RadiumOne Office in the UK

SAN FRANCISCO--()--RadiumOne, the revolutionary new online ad network that overlays social and intent data together to deliver results for brands, today announced the opening of the company’s official London-based office, an initial move in what will be an determined push to expand internationally and reach marketers worldwide. In conjunction with the company’s global expansion, RadiumOne is announcing the hire of Rupert Staines as the new managing director of Europe. In this role, he will lead all aspects of RadiumOne’s financial, strategy, and corporate development activities in the UK.

Staines joins RadiumOne from Specific Media, Inc. where he served as Senior Vice President and led the company’s expansion into Europe in 2005. Prior to Specific Media, he was the Managing Director of ValueClick, the integrated online marketing company that acquired RadiumOne CEO Gurbaksh Chahal’s first start-up, Click Agents. Staines was responsible for launching ValueClick’s European division, and brings 20 years of business experience in international operations, digital marketing, media sales and brand management to RadiumOne.
