SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AdReady, a pioneering technology company that delivers powerful, elegant, and cost-effective software solutions for digital display advertising, announced today that it has appointed Matt Carr Senior Vice President of Product and Business Development and Randy Wootton Senior Vice President of Sales, Service and Marketing. Carr will oversee AdReady’s product strategy and strategic partnerships, while Wootton will develop and oversee its sales, service and marketing initiatives to drive adoption of AdReady’s unique display advertising solutions for advertisers and agencies.
“AdReady has demonstrated that they have the product, team and vision needed to lead the rapidly evolving display market,” said Carr. “They not only designed their platform to easily grow and adjust to meet new requirements, but they work hard to crunch the data and identify key trends before anyone else. I feel fortunate to be part of a team that exudes tenacity and ambition at every step.”
Carr has more than ten years experience in the online advertising industry, ranging from rich media and video to targeting and creative tools. He was previously General Manager of Display Advertising at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the Microsoft Media Network, premium advertising offerings and display technologies.
“Analysts will tell you that the display advertising market doubled in 2010 and is poised to grow more than 60 percent in 2011,” said Wootton. “AdReady has established itself with a unique value proposition, and is focused on leading this growth and driving the market forward in the display advertising platform space. Much of the company’s success is due to their tight alignment with customers, deep insight into data and ability to develop innovative solutions quickly. It’s exciting to join a company that has already done much to shape the display advertising market already and is—more importantly—poised to do much more.”
Wootton has more than eleven years experience in the software, Web and online advertising industries. He was previously Vice President of Global Search and Online Marketplace at Microsoft, where he was instrumental in operationalizing Microsoft’s “Search Alliance” agreement with Yahoo! for the small and medium sized space. In this role, Wootton led a staff of more than 300 sales, marketing and support employees. While at Microsoft, Wootton also served as Chief of Staff for the Online Services and Windows Division and as head of the U.S. Specialist Sales organization. Wootton also spent more than four years at aQuantive in product management, marketing and business development roles.
“Matt and Randy have the backgrounds, skills and determination AdReady needs to execute against our vision,” said Karl Siebrecht, President and CEO, AdReady. “Matt brings a wealth of experience positioning products at the top of their markets, and Randy offers a proven record of scaling sales and service operations globally. We’re honored to have them both join our team at this exciting juncture in AdReady’s history.”
