LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dick Bromley, who has led Business Wire's growth in Europe for nearly 10 years, was recently named Group Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), company officials announced today.
Bromley began his Business Wire career in London as UK sales manager in 2001 after working at hemscott.net, one of Britain's leading online financial news providers. In 2006, he moved into the role of Business Wire’s European Sales Director and in 2008 and was named Vice President, Europe. Bromley’s rise reflects his consistent delivery of double-digit sales increases in the continental regulatory disclosure market, Business Wire President Gregg Castano said.
“Dick has a long track record of success in every role he's tackled at Business Wire, beginning with our foray into Europe,” said Castano, “We have every confidence he’ll excel beyond expectations in this new role.”
Bromley enjoys running, spending time with his wife Louiza and their children, Joshua,10 and Francesca, 7, and coaching football for the Ridgeway Soccer Club in Tunbridge Wells, UK.
“We haven’t even scratched the surface of the EMEA region,” said Bromley. “It represents huge potential for Business Wire and I couldn’t be more thrilled to oversee our aggressive growth,” he added.
Bromley graduated from Huddersfield University, Huddersfield, UK, with a degree in history and politics.
Bromley joins his U.S. colleagues Ken Bouton, Morrissey Perfetti and Sanford Paek in the key leadership role of Group Vice President for Business Wire.
