SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GIS Virtual, a firm that designs photo-realistic renderings and animation for clients, has expanded its services by completing a project for a geothermal heating system. It has also recently hired sales reps in six markets across the country.
Based in Seattle since its launch in 2005, GIS Virtual created animation for TERRASource, an Ohio company that needed a high-quality, inexpensive and fast method of introducing its products to consumers.
“We used 3D animation to describe the heating system that this company came up with,” said GIS Virtual’s executive director Eugene Gershman. “While it takes time and money for our client to actually build a product, we can do it for a fraction of the cost.”
TERRASource provided several photographs of the existing components of the system and also wrote a short description of how the system works. GIS Virtual designers analyzed that information and recreated the process in the 3D modeling software. A stock model of a house with its interiors and exteriors was used to produce the realistic animation within a residence.

Since its founding, GIS Virtual has used 3D animation software for numerous applications. The company started in architecture and construction by designing 3D renderings and animation for virtual reality tours of the interiors and exteriors of houses and other buildings; virtual staging for real estate listings; and virtual remodels with 360-degree panoramas. It has evolved to designing visualization projects for a variety of products and services.
As part of GIS Virtual’s expansion, in recent months it has hired sales reps in Washington, Arizona, Georgia, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina.
“GIS Virtual is looking to expand fast and become one of the leading visualization firms in the nation,” Gershman said.
About GIS Virtual
GIS Virtual designs photo-realistic renderings and animation for clients. Since its launch in 2005, the company has created 3D visualization projects ranging from small virtual staging projects to marketing tools for multibillion-dollar developments. Architecture firms, real estate agents, marketing agencies, engineering firms, construction attorneys and city planning departments have consulted with GIS Virtual to design 3D renderings and animation for virtual reality tours of the interiors and exteriors of houses and other buildings; virtual staging for real estate listings; virtual remodels with 360-degree panoramas; and “video fly-through animation” to showcase cities with proposed large-scale developments including roads, airports and other infrastructures. GIS Virtual helps clients bring the vision of their projects to life by tailoring each project to each client’s needs.
