Also announced today by Front Porch Digital, DIVApublish will be available initially as a beta release, with general release following early in 2011.
As global content owners and distributors build increasingly larger digital systems, the ability to easily locate and retrieve content becomes crucial. DIVApublish will enable users to search and view metadata and the associated content from their desktops providing a significant boost in efficiency and time-savings.
DIVApublish will leverage Digitalsmiths’ metadata management system, MetaFrame, for cloud-based, automated frame-based metadata creation. MetaFrame enables customers to delve deep into their content, using facial recognition, scene detection, speech recognition, natural language processing, ad-break detection and closed-caption time alignment. This level of metadata capture and creation make it incredibly easy for users to find specific content based on a wide range of descriptive search terms and then quickly publish that content online.
