Groton Biosystems and New England Controls announce a collaboration to facilitate Automated Bioreactor Data Collection and Feedback Control with Reporting, Visualization, and Analysis

BOXBOROUGH, Mass. & MANSFIELD, Mass.--()--Groton Biosystems is pleased to announce they have partnered with New England Controls (NEC), a local business partner for Emerson Process Management, in order to provide a complete solution for automated data collection, data reporting, and feedback control for all types of bioreactors and fermentors. NEC’s Operations Maintenance & Intelligence (OM&I) team will support Groton’s ARS-M™ Series of automated online bioreactor samplers. Groton’s ARS-M Series will revolutionize standard operating procedures in the lab when paired with NEC’s expertise in a wide array of process automation and information management solutions.

This collaboration integrates automated sampling with closed loop feedback control for OPC and non-OPC Process Control Systems (PCS); on demand sampling and calibration by remote demand and calendar scheduling in the Process Control System; event notification via email, text, or phone message; and offers reporting, visualization, and analysis of the data collected with the ARS-M for Historical Trending, Graphical Displays, and Data Analysis for batch-to-batch comparisons.
