GIBRALTAR--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Newmarket Racecourses is delighted to announce an agreement that will see 32Red sponsoring three valuable and prestigious races at the July Festival for the next four years.
32Red have long held an association with ‘The Home of Racing’ and have now committed to a new deal that will ensure their involvement at the July Course until 2013.
32Red Plc, operators of award-winning 32Red Online Casino, 32Red Poker Room and, more recently 32Red Bet, will sponsor three key races on Friday, July 9 - the final day of the Champagne Lanson July Festival.
The opening event on the card is the mile-long 32Red Casino Handicap, worth £40,000.
This will be followed by the Group 2 32Red.com Superlative Stakes, a £70,000 race staged over seven furlongs for two-year-olds.
The third race is the 32Red Trophy (a Heritage Handicap, formerly known as the Bunbury Cup) in which horses will compete for a total prize fund of £80,000.
Ed Ware, CEO of 32Red commented: “It’s great for 32Red to be sponsoring once again at HQ and to be part of such a fantastic festival. We’ve been looking for a flagship race for our brand for some time and we were delighted when the opportunity to develop the 32Red Trophy came up”.
Newmarket Racecourses Director of Racing Michael Prosser said: “We are thrilled that 32Red have committed to an agreement that will extend over four seasons.
“32Red have long been a greatly valued sponsor with us and this new deal cements our excellent relationship.
“The start of this new and exciting long-term sponsorship arrangement will help to guarantee the future prize money levels for all three races for which the race conditions are unchanged.”
