Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Continues Rapid Expansion in Europe With Strategic New Hires

With over a dozen key new hires in the UK, Italy, Ireland and Germany, Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. continues its rapid growth to deliver client focused solutions on a global basis.

Cantor announced the following new members of its European team , the trading team is lead by:

Emmanuel Androulidakis joined Cantor as the European head of the Structured Credit desk, responsible for Non US ABS/MBS trading. At Cantor Mr. Androulidakis is building a dedicated Structured Credit trading and distribution team covering all European asset classes. Previously, at RBS in London he ran the ABS/MBS desk. Earlier he was at Mellon Capital Markets where he structured RMBS deals.

Joining Mr. Androulidakis’ team are:

Bjoern Bauermeister joins the trading desk as a Director focusing on trading Non-US ABS and MBS. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald Mr. Bauermeister served on BNP Paribas’ ABS trading desk where he was the sole market maker for European ABS/MBS/CDOs, as well as CDS of ABS. He previously traded European ABS and CDO of ABS at WestLB.

Faten Bizzari joins as the head of European Commercial Real Estate Debt Trading focusing on distribution platforms including CMBS and real estate loans. Ms. Bizzari joined from HBOS Treasury where she was Head of Investment Credit overseeing £48bn of ABS. Her expertise is in commercial real estate debt, particularly CMBS, having previously worked at S&P and Morgan Stanley.

The new sales team consists of:

Vanessa Bradford, Head of UK and Ireland Structured Credit Sales joins Cantor from Lehman Brothers where she earned top salesperson and top producer rankings in 2006 and 2007. At Lehman Ms. Bradford was Head of Hedge Fund Sales for European Structured Products. Ms. Bradford completed her B.S. in Finance degree at Virginia Tech.

Lucinda Broad joins Ms. Bradford’s team as Vice President UK and Ireland Structured Credit Sales.

Prior to joining Cantor Ms. Broad was with BNP Paribas in Structured Credit Syndication and Debt Capital Markets Origination. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce (with Merit) from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and completed the Morgan Stanley graduate program.

Alessandra Frontini joins as Managing Director on the ABS/IG team focusing on Italian accounts and will be based in Milan. Previously, Ms. Frontini was at Morgan Stanley in Credit sales. Earlier she was a portfolio manager at SanPaolo Am and most recently in credit sales at Mediobanca. Ms Frontini graduated in Finance at Bocconi University.

Michela Molendi joins as Managing Director on the ABS and Investment Grade credit team focusing on Italian accounts. Previously, she was at Dresdner in Fixed Income sales and Banca Commerciale Italiana as Fund Manager. She graduated in Finance and Economics at Pavia University.

Dr. Martin Hellmich joins the Sales Team as a Managing Director to form the Structured Credit Sales Team for Germany and Austria. Most recently, Dr. Hellmich was Head of Treasury at DekaBank. He also served as Structured Credit Sales Director at Barclays Capital focused on bespoke transactions for institutional clients. He holds a doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Ulm and is holding lectures at University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt.

Bjoern Schuck joins Cantor as Director in the Structured Credit Sales Team. Prior to Cantor, Mr. Schuck was at DekaBank where he was responsible for developing and marketing Structured Products. Earlier he was in Structured Credit Sales with Barclays Capital where he focused on bespoke transactions for institutional clients.

Dacil Acosta joins the ABS/MBS Sales team covering the Iberia region. Dacil was most recently in Fixed Income Sales at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Ltd where she also covered institutional clients in Spain and Portugal. Prior to that, she was in Cash CDO Structuring at Merrill Lynch and Dresdner. Ms. Dacil started her career as a credit rating analyst at S&P, focused on ABS and synthetic and cash CDOs.

Jacques de Lezardiere joins the structured credit team from MarketAxess in London where he was in Sales and in charge of France, Geneva and Monaco. Previously, Mr. de Lezardiere was at Bank of America in London where he ran Structured Credit Sales for France and Belgium. He has a Masters in Trading-Finance et Négoce International from ESLSCA in Paris.

Cantor Fitzgerald has added over one hundred fixed income and equity sales and trading professionals over the past year.
