Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope Ninth Annual Gala to Feature a Special Performance by Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J.--()--Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope, a philanthropic initiative of the world’s technology leader, today announced that American actress, singer, record producer, and fashion designer, Jennifer Lopez, and five-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Marc Anthony, will be the special guest performers at Samsung’s ninth annual Four Seasons of Hope gala on June 15, at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street. The event will raise funds for Jennifer Lopez’s Maribel Foundation - a not-for-profit organization that promotes greater access to healthcare for women and children through its commitment to telemedicine – in addition to many of the wonderful charities affiliated with Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope philanthropic initiative.

Lopez and Anthony will help Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope honor sports legends Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, and NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson continue their philanthropic efforts with their respective charities. A new addition to this year’s program is Matthew McConaughey and his j.k. livin foundation– an organization dedicated to helping teenage kids lead active lives and make healthy choices to become great men and women.

“Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope continues to align itself with world-renown superstars known for helping children in our communities. We are thrilled to share the voices of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony with our foundation partners and look forward to their performance at our 9th annual gala,” said CS Choi, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics America. “It is especially encouraging to see all of our business partners and talented celebrities coming together to benefit children’s lives through The Maribel Foundation and our Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope charities. We are so proud to support their efforts and help raise money for such a wonderful cause.”

“Marc and I are honored to participate in Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope gala because of Samsung’s reputation for being an exceptionally generous corporate citizen,” said Jennifer Lopez. “We applaud the great work of all the charities involved and I look forward to the successes The Maribel Foundation can achieve together with Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope.”

“Through Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope program, we can raise valuable funds to further the affordability and availability of services and facilities to both women and children. This is truly a great program and partnership,” added Marc Anthony.

Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope gala attracts a star-studded roster of celebrities from the worlds of sports, entertainment and politics. The event will feature a silent auction of sports memorabilia and other items to raise funds for participating celebrities’ charities and foundations. Since its inception in 2002, Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope has raised more than $25 million for the charities, foundations and schools it supports through partnerships with its business and retail partners.
