The acquisition strongly complements Sunquest’s existing best-of-suite LIS solutions to provide the most comprehensive suite of outreach business management solutions in the industry.
Sunquest signed a definitive agreement on December 18, 2008 (see Press Release) to acquire the Outreach Advantage solution suite as part of its stated patient and physician affinity strategy to deliver industry-leading outreach and laboratory connectivity solutions for the U.S. and international markets. The acquired solutions will enable Sunquest’s customers to create new business opportunities, and reduce the operational costs associated with facilitating better communications between hospitals, laboratories, physicians, communities, and patients.

PAML will refer to the suite as “Joint Venture Advantage” to distinguish it from the commercially available “Sunquest Outreach Advantage”.
The Outreach Advantage suite provides customer relationship management tools, sales and marketing business intelligence, mobile courier management, and connectivity tools for integrating with EMRs, LIS, and other enterprise systems.
