LinkedIn Launches the LinkedIn Audience Network

New Advertising Network Uses Profile Data to Help Marketers Target Professionals Across Premium Web Properties

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--LinkedIn, the worlds largest online professional network with over 27 million members, today launched the LinkedIn Audience Network. Using LinkedIns profile-based targeting technology the LinkedIn Audience Network helps marketers efficiently reach specific audiences of influential and affluent professionals across hundreds of high quality brand-name publishers.

The message we hear from advertisers is simple: they want mass reach against specific segments of decision-making professionals, and they want their ads to appear in quality environments, said Steve Patrizi, LinkedIns Director of Advertising Sales.
