GLENDALE, Calif.--()--Baby Einstein has been a moms must have for the past decade and today, dozens of giggling babies and parents helped celebrate its 10th anniversary at a special event at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Hosted by Baby Einstein founder Julie Clark, and actress and mom, Jennifer Garner, partygoers strolled, crawled and toddled down a colorful caterpillar carpet toward baby-friendly discovery zones where they interacted with music, created art, mingled with nature and explored a pint-sized jungle. Among the guests were 7-year-old Ryan Douglas and 5-year-old Alexa Bradley, two remarkable children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® whose wishes to go behind-the-scenes of their favorite DVDs were granted. The festivities also included a sneak peak at the 10th Anniversary special editions, fall release of Baby Mozart and Baby Beethoven, a puppet show and a performance by the Glendale Youth Orchestra.

We love the arts, and Baby Einstein has brought music and nature into our home in such a wonderful, meaningful way, said Garner. As a parent, its easy to see why Baby Einstein is a mom-favorite around the world.

In addition to an emotional look back at the companys incredibly successful past, Clark also revealed how the brand would evolve in 2009 with an innovative, interactive DVD viewing experience featuring grow with me and select your segment options that will be unveiled on the spring DVD title. This innovative new release will shift the focus from classical music to world music, exposing children to the beauty of cultures from around the world. And, drawing from the brands understanding that babies change from month to month, Baby Einstein will launch a new brand, Einstein Pals, specifically geared toward the toddler market.

Thousands of parents have shared personal stories with me about how their babies faces light up when they hear Baby Einstein music, Clark said. It reinforces that after 10 years, we remain true to our vision of helping parents and babies discover and share the beauty of classic, timeless images and sounds.

To coincide with this exclusive celebration, American Baby magazine -- which reaches ninety five percent of moms in the United States -- is launching its first ever Moments of Discovery national cover contest in the pages of its August 2008 issue, on its web site and with its television partner, Parents.TV. Entries for the contest end on September 15, 2008.
