MT. ROYAL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--More than 900 participated, but only one achieved Best in Show. The Healthcare Communication & Marketing Association (HCMA) announced that Buffalo, N.Y., advertising agency Crowley Webb and Associates achieved the distinction coveted by agencies internationally: The Best in Show Award. The agency won the award for a business-to-business marketing campaign – “Have Patients!” – it created for Praxis Communications, a patient recruitment firm in Brentwood, Tenn. The award was announced at the HCMA’s annual conference in Dallas, Texas.
Crowley Webb and Associates, founded in 1986, is one of Western New York’s successful advertising and marketing communications agencies.
The Best in Show Award is part of the International Award of Excellence (IN AWE) competition, where creative submissions are judged based on powerful strategy, “killer” creative and measurable results. This year's competition included more than 900 entries from nearly 150 companies internationally. A panel of 38 judges evaluated the submissions looking for this year's best of the best.
“The type of creative applied in patient recruitment initiatives historically pales in comparison to journal advertising,” said Mark Perletto, Chair of the IN AWE Awards and executive vice president, managing director of Adair Greene McCann. “So it was refreshing to see agencies, like Crowley Webb and Associates, use their innovative thinking to develop a fresh approach that resonated with both their client and the target market.”
