KnowledgeAdvisors and Bassi Investments Human Capital Measurement Portfolio
Outperforms S&P 500 by 15 Percent

CHICAGO--()--KnowledgeAdvisors Inc. and Bassi Investments Inc. today announced the creation of a new Human Capital Measurement stock portfolio. Bassi Investments analysis of KnowledgeAdvisors publicly-held customers shows that organizations with high levels of learning and talent measurement expertise significantly outperform the market.

As a whole, expert users of KnowledgeAdvisors Human Capital technology, Metrics that Matter®, outperformed the S&P 500 by 15.18 percent between Jan. 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2007, based on a back-tested research portfolio. These findings are consistent with Bassis previous research findings that organizations that invest heavily in Human Capital were more likely to outperform the market. (There are limitations inherent in hypothetical, back-tested research results, which do not represent actual trading. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.)

The Human Capital Measurement portfolio created by Bassi Investments Inc., comprised of a subset of KnowledgeAdvisors clients, clearly shows that when an organization focuses on measuring and improving human capital impact it is more likely to generate above average returns to shareholders, said Kent D. Barnett, chief executive officer of KnowledgeAdvisors.

The old adage you cant manage what you dont measure certainly applies to investments in people. By implementing measurement solutions around talent, learning, and performance, organizations are able to drive out poor-performing investments and increase overall market value.

We are pleased to have collaborated with KnowledgeAdvisors on this endeavor. It strengthens our investment portfolio; but more importantly, it emphasizes even more why organizations need to invest in human capital management and in measuring those investments, commented Laurie Bassi, CEO and Chair of Bassi Investments Inc.

It is important to see this type of result when we are quick to cut training to prop up the income statement in a bad quarter, commented Barnett. Maybe it will make executives think twice about cuts based on the ramifications it may ultimately have on shareholder value.

KnowledgeAdvisors Inc. has invested six figures of the corporations money in the Human Capital Measurement funds. This is its commitment to maximizing returns for its shareholders and for investing in its customers.
