NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northland Investment Corporation (“Northland”), a leading privately held real estate investment and development company, today announced that Steven P. Rosenthal will join the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rosenthal, who joins the firm from Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo P.C. (“Mintz Levin”), will be responsible for stewarding Northland’s growth, including its $1.5 billion development pipeline and the strategic direction of its future investments including the creation of Northland Funds III and IV.

Mr. Rosenthal comes to Northland from Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo P.C. where he most recently served as Co-Managing Member of the Firm. Throughout his 21 year career at Mintz Levin, first as an associate, then as a Member and finally as part of the management of the firm, he worked in the Business and Finance Section in the Boston offices where he focused on general corporate and business representation, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and corporate and real estate finance.
He received his A.B. from Harvard College (1979), and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law (1983). Mr. Rosenthal is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority in Boston as well as a Member of the Executive Committee of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington, D.C. Mr. Rosenthal also serves as a Director of the Harvard Alumni Association, a Member of the Harvard Corporation Advisory Committee on Shareholder Responsibility (ACSR) and a Co-Chair of the Harvard Class of 1979.
