RA'ANANA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orca Interactive (LSE: ORCA), a global market leader in developing middleware and applications for IPTV, announced today that its IPTV middleware – RiGHTv™ – has been deployed in the first Baltic MPEG4 IPTV solution for Lattelecom, Latvia’s leading provider of information technology and telecommunications services.
Utilizing Orca’s RiGHTv middleware as part of the end-to-end solution provided by Optibase and supported by local system integrator Hannu Pro, Lattelecom IPTV service includes broadcast television, video on demand, multi-lingual and self service. Orca’s Service Delivery Platform (SDP) architecture enabled Optibase to develop an innovative segmented advertising service that allows Lattelecom to send advertisements triggered by the user’s actions.
