WOODINVILLE, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Precor introduces variety, affordability and the latest in exercise technology with the S3.15 multi-station home gym, a “hybrid” combining of functional and traditional approaches to home strength training.
“The S3.15 is an ideal entry-level gym for the fitness enthusiast who wants Precor quality in a full-body workout, delivered in a compact space,” said Brent Brooks, director of marketing for Precor’s Consumer Division. “With a blend of free, ‘functional’ movement and fixed-path motion, the S3.15 is a great way to gain strength, balance and coordination through core and functional training, as well as target specific muscle groups.”
The range of upper-body workout choices represent a good example of S3.15 versatility, with rowing and chest-press exercises available both through the free movement of “functional” cable-and-pulley systems, or via traditional fixed-path motion. With high and low pulleys, the S3.15 provides an incredible full range of arm, shoulder and core exercises.
With an easily adjustable extended seat and seat back, users can quickly set up stable, comfortable seated positions, and lock personalized starting positions into place.
Standard accessories include 150-pound weight stack and a variety of bars and straps, including short-curl/triceps bar with cable attachment ring; wide lat bar with anatomic bend and foam grips; two-handed abs/ tri strap; and single ankle sloop with cable ring. A simple wall chart offers step-by-step instructions and depicts correct form for 26 different exercises.
Optional multi/hip station and leg press stations easily can be placed at either side of the S3.15, and the leg press features a floating footplate to ensure proper position for thigh, hamstring, glute, calf and ankle exercises. A 200-lb. heavy weight stack is optional, as are cosmetic shrouds for the leg press and weight stacks.
In Precor dealer showrooms nationwide, the S3.15 is available in time for the holiday season, with a suggested retail price of $1,299. Optional multi/hip station is $249, and leg press is $499. For more information on Precor dealers or products, visit www.precor.com.
