Conversagent Changes Its Name to Colloquis

NEW YORK--()--July 24, 2006--Conversagent, a developer of automated customer-service solutions, announced today that it has changed its name to Colloquis.

Colloquis CEO Stephen Klein said, "Our new name strongly encapsulates the advantage we bring to the marketplace. Colloquis (pronounced cull oh' kwis) derives from the Latin word 'colloquium,' meaning conversation. This is precisely what our Automated Service Agent(TM) (ASA) system delivers. Colloquis' technology enables conversational self-service and other high-value uses of our natural language platform. Offering automated conversations is a low-cost solution for businesses and a high-value resource for customers who get immediate and accurate service."

Colloquis' revolutionary technology has been rapidly adopted. Comcast, Time-Warner Cable and Cox--the top three US cable companies with 38 million subscribers (more than half of the US total)--have implemented Colloquis' solution. More recently, Cingular, the nation's largest cellular telephone company, and Vonage, the pioneering provider of broadband telephone services, have successfully deployed ASA systems. Other clients include CareerBuilder.com, the nation's highest volume jobsite, and Panasonic, one of the world's leading consumer electronic companies.

Colloquis' ASA system delivers effective service at low cost by answering customers' questions and deflecting calls to high-cost customer service representatives. Customers type in questions in their own words, the questions are routed through the ASA and the customer receives an answer with virtually no delay. In doing so, Colloquis drives improved profitability and strengthens a company's reputation for quality customer service.
