"The award from Merrill Lynch validates the quality of DATA Inc's. global services," says Arun Verma, President and CEO of DATA Inc. "This is a marvelous accomplishment for our organization and is something that could have never been done without the team effort of our entire staff."
Introduced in 2003 by the Global Sourcing and Procurement Service division of Merrill Lynch, the award recognizes vendors with the best overall performance in the Technology Time and Materials Preferred Vendor Program. Criteria for selection include the presence of a large and growing base of direct consultants across business units and adherence to program standards over the course of the year. In addition, an equal weighting is placed on feedback provided by the user community based on their own expectations with the preferred vendors.
The information that Merrill Lynch gathered showed that DATA Inc. has not only maintained a considerable consultant base, but grew their presence across Merrill Lynch and have delivered quality service, scoring well in 2005 in multiple technology divisions throughout the Merrill Lynch organization in delivering technology services.
