Laura Ingraham, NewsTalk 870 KRLA-AM's Popular Morning Host, to Speak April 6 at the Alex Theatre

LOS ANGELES--()--March 6, 2006--Laura Ingraham, recently named "America's most listened-to female issues talk host" by radio industry trade Talkers Magazine, will make a rare Southern California speaking appearance on Thursday, April 6 at the Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd. in Glendale, Calif. Ingraham's topical discussion will culminate with questions from the audience. Tickets are free but reservations are required, and they can be made online at www.newstalk870.com. The Alex Theatre Courtyard will open at 6:00 p.m. and Ingraham will speak at 7:30 p.m.

Laura Ingraham worked as a speechwriter in the final two years of the Reagan Administration at the White House, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Education. She went on to graduate from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was Notes Editor of the Law Review. She served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Ralph K. Winter on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. After clerking, Laura worked as a white-collar criminal defense attorney for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She launched "The Laura Ingraham Show" in 2001.

In addition to hosting her own syndicated radio program, Laura is an author, frequent columnist, and television commentator. Her latest book, Shut Up & Sing: How the Elites in Hollywood, Politics...and the UN are Subverting America is a bestseller. Her book The Hillary Trap, first released in June 2000, was recently re-released in an updated paperback version.
