Lee Amaitis, Chairman of BGC Partners, welcomed support from former New York Giants superstar Harry Carson, former New York Jets great, Boomer Esiason, and New York Yankees superstar Mariano Rivera at their New York offices today.
Mr. Carson, Mr. Esiason, and Mr. Rivera will man the phones at the inter-dealer broker which will donate all revenues to a number of charities including, CLIC Sargent, which supports children suffering from leukemia or cancer; charities chosen by clients - 20% of each client's revenue will be donated to their nominated charity, and the Cantor Foundation, which will distribute to charities it supports including the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and the Euro Brokers Relief Fund.

The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was established on September 14, 2001 as a result of the tragedy at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The goal of the fund is to provide direct assistance to those who lost loved ones in the tragedy with 100% of the money donated to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund being disbursed directly to the families and loved ones.
About the Euro Brokers Relief Fund
The Euro Brokers Relief Fund has been established as a charitable organization for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the families of (and others economically dependent on) Euro Brokers staff and employees who were killed in the World Trade Center terrorist attack.
