Tina Turner Follows #2 Debut of ``All The Best'' Double-CD Anthology with ``All The Best - The Live Collection'' DVD, Due Out March 15th

LOS ANGELES--()--Feb. 23, 2005--

Live DVD Features 25 Classic Hits, Including Performances with David Bowie and Bryan Adams, Exclusive New Interview Footage and a Live Performance of Turner's New Single, "Open Arms"

What's live got to do with it? Everything when you're talking about Tina Turner. From the moment she stepped onstage with Ike Turner and the Ikettes in the late 1950s, Turner has been renowned for her incendiary live performances, exuding a gritty, utterly uncontrived sensuality and paving the way for every woman who's strutted across a stage since then. "All The Best - The Live Collection," a DVD featuring 25 classic performances by Turner in 5.1 Surround Sound is a potent reminder of her place as one of the most powerful performers of our time. The DVD is a companion to her double-CD anthology, "All The Best," which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 (her highest debut ever). "All The Best - The Live Collection" will be released on March 15th by Capitol Records.

Filmed from the "Private Dancer" era (1985) up to her Wembley appearance during 2000's "One Last Time In Concert" tour and a recent television studio performance of her latest hit, "Open Arms," "All The Best - The Live Collection" is a definitive collection of her hits. The "concert" portion of the DVD features Turner performing 20 of her biggest hits while "extras" include five additional tracks and an exclusive "All The Best" interview recently filmed at Turner's home in Switzerland. In the revealing 23-minute interview, she shares the stories behind the songs, including meeting John Fogerty (who penned "Proud Mary") for the first time just a few years ago, how David Bowie was instrumental in her signing a deal with Capitol Records and the day Mark Knopfler first played "Private Dancer" for her.

"All The Best - The Live Collection" features Turner performing her most famous songs from both her time with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue and her solo career, including "Proud Mary," "Nutbush City Limits," "River Deep Mountain High," "What's Love Got To Do With It," "We Don't Need Another Hero," "Private Dancer," "Missing You," "I Don't Wanna Fight" and "Better Be Good To Me." It also includes duets with David Bowie ("Tonight"), Bryan Adams ("It's Only Love") and Italian superstar Eros Ramazzotti ("Cose Della Vita").

"Open Arms," one of three brand new songs Turner recorded for the "All The Best" double-CD, is already a Top 15 hit at the Adult Contemporary radio format after only four weeks of airplay. Turner performed the song on a whirlwind series of six national U.S. television shows earlier this month. The performance appearing on the new DVD was filmed in late 2004 when she appeared on British national television.
