|Strategic Board of Advisors Comprised of General Henry Hugh Shelton, Kurt M. Campbell and Christopher A. Williams to Advise Company on Opportunities for Growth|
The O'Gara Group, Inc., established by the former founders and executives of O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company and The Kroll-O'Gara Company, announced today that a Board of Advisors has been created initially comprised of three former senior officials to help the Company more effectively pursue government contracts and advise the Company on other opportunities for products and services that are needed by the nation's armed forces.

About the Board Members
General Henry Hugh Shelton has served the public for more than 40 years. He held a variety of command and staff positions in the continental United States, Hawaii and Vietnam. After returning from Desert Storm in 1991, he commanded the 82d Airborne Division, XVIII Airborne Corps, and was Commander-In-Chief, Special Operations Command. He became the 14th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in 1997 during which time he oversaw numerous joint operations around the globe.
One of Shelton's most notable victories was the establishment of the Joint Forces Command to consolidate joint experimentation efforts and guide the transformation of the U.S. Armed Forces for the 21st century. For this and many of his other accomplishments, Shelton has been decorated by numerous military and civilian organizations in the United States and by 16 foreign governments. In 2001, Shelton was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II and in 2002, Shelton was awarded with the Congressional Gold Medal for his exemplary service to his country.
Dr. Kurt M. Campbell comes to the advisory board as the Senior Vice President, Director of the International Security Program, and holder of the Henry A. Kissinger Chair in National Security at The Center for Strategic and International Studies where he is responsible for helping develop the foreign policy and security agenda for the Center. Campbell has served his country in numerous positions, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, Director in the Democracy office at the National Security Council, Deputy Special Counselor to the President for NAFTA and White House Fellow at the Treasury Department. For his outstanding capabilities and endurance, Campbell received the Distinguished Public Service Medal from Defense Secretary Cohen, among other medals and awards.
Campbell is the author of To Prevail: An American Strategy for the Campaign against Terrorism, as well as a frequent writer on the editorial page of the New York Times, and a regular contributor to NPR's "All Things Considered."
Christopher A. Williams began his career in public service in a series of leadership, committee and professional staff positions in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, including National Security Advisor to Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott; Deputy Staff Director and Budget Director for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; and Professional Staff Member for the House Armed Services Committee.
In more recent years Williams has served as Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy where he helped shape a broad range of Departmental and Administration policies and programs. Currently, Williams is a partner with Johnston and Associates, LLC., a strategic public and legislative affairs consulting company while also serving on the Department of Defense Policy Board and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Advisory Committee.
