With more than 40 years of business experience, Steinert is a practicing Certified Public Accountant. He is co-owner of EAS Investment Enterprises Inc., which owns two Hampton Inns and a Hampton Inn and Suites.

Steinert graduated from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Mo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Missouri Society of CPA's.
The addition of Steinert brings the total number of directors to seven. Other members of the Great Southern boards include Chairman William V. Turner, President Joseph W. Turner, William E. Barclay, Julie T. Brown, Thomas J. Carlson and Larry D. Frazier.
