Ventus Networks was named a Rising Star in Deloitte's Connecticut Technology Fast 50 program. The Rising Star category ranks companies that have been in business at least three years but less than five years. They are ranked based on average percentage of growth in revenues over three years (2000 to 2002).
In addition to this award Ventus Networks also received national recognition. Ventus Networks has been named a Rising Star on the 2003 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America. A special category ranks the top 25 national winners. Ventus Networks ranked #15 nationally in the Rising Star category.
Ventus Networks' Chief Executive Officer, Keith Charette, credits the company's 1,661% revenue growth with the ability to provide their customers with competitive pricing and superior service. "Ventus Networks has focused on reducing our customer's telecommunication costs while providing superior customer service and accurate electronic billing," Charette said.
"It's not easy for a young company to get traction in the technology marketplace let alone report such phenomenal revenue growth," said Mark A. Evans, national managing partner of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group. "It's a credit to Ventus Networks' leadership that they've managed to ramp up their business so quickly."
Ventus Networks' increase in revenues of 1,661% over the three-year period of 2000 to 2002 resulted in Ventus Networks being named as a Rising Star in the 2003 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 programs.
