Optoma Utilizes Oplus Technologies' Rembrandt-1 Chip in its Award-Winning High Definition Rear Projection TVs

YOKNE'AM, Israel--()--May 8, 2003--Oplus Technologies, Ltd., a leading provider of innovative systems-on-chip and software solutions for digital displays, today announced that Optoma Technology is utilizing the Rembrandt(TM)-1 multimedia display processor to power its recently released wide screen High Definition Rear Projection TVs (HD-RPTVs).

The Optoma HD-RPTVs, the RD50 and RD65, recently won the distinguished 2003 Innovations Award from the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Optoma reports that the RD50 is the world's slimmest rear-projection TV, and the RD65 is the world's first 65-inch HD2 DLP TV.
