CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Effective Oct. 5, 2009, the Unum Group (NYSE: UNM) Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.0825 per share on its common stock to be paid on Nov. 20, 2009, to stockholders of record on Oct. 26, 2009.
