Randall-Reilly and TransCore Form Partnership
Move Increases TruckStops Express’ Service Network and Expands Media Reach of TransCore’s DAT Nationwide Truck Stop Load Board Digital Display Network
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Randall-Reilly Publishing, the nation’s largest provider of media products to the trucking industry, and TransCore, provider of the country’s first and most widely used freight matching network, have formed a partnership to manage TransCore’s nationwide field services network. Under the agreement, TruckStops Express, Randall-Reilly’s truck stop service division, will service TransCore’s digital display network consisting of more than 1,100 truck stop load boards.
Randall-Reilly also becomes a reseller of TransCore’s digital display network, courtesy phone boards and brochure racks. Randall-Reilly will add these properties to its menu of truck stop marketing venues sold through its Motor Media division. Motor Media offers posters, phone frames and light boxes through a network of more than 700 truck stops nationwide.
“This agreement is a perfect fit for TruckStops Express and Motor Media,” says Robert Lake, vice president and group publisher of Randall-Reilly’s Truckstop Division. “It allows us to improve our service technology while offering our customers additional media products to achieve their marketing goals.”
“The Randall-Reilly partnership was a natural given their long history and strong presence within the trucking community,” says Tim Bickmore, executive vice president for TransCore’s Commercial Business Services Group. “We believe this partnership, combined with our recent and ongoing investment to upgrade the technology in our truck stop network, will enhance TransCore’s position and exposure within the truck stop channel.”
