WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Keane Organization, a leading provider of compliance and risk management solutions to Fortune 1000 corporations, today announced the promotion of Mark Sweatman to President of Keane’s Retirement Services Division (KRS). Sweatman previously served as Senior Vice President with Keane’s Investor Communication and Retention Solutions (ICRS) division, where he held responsibility for all sales and client services activities. He brings seven years of experience within the Keane Organization to his new leadership role with the KRS division, where he will be directly responsible for sales, sales management, and revenue development for the KRS business unit.
Sweatman succeeds Mary Steigerwalt, who helped Keane launch the KRS division and has served as its president since April of 2008. Steigerwalt has been promoted to the new position of Executive Vice President of Operations to lead all operations and service delivery for the four divisions of The Keane Organization.
“I offer congratulations to Mark who will provide great leadership to Keane’s Retirement Services division,” says Steigerwalt. “He will provide crucial direction to KRS as we meet the ever-expanding opportunities for our risk management and compliance solutions for plan sponsors and retirement services companies. In his years at Keane, Mark has proven himself an invaluable member of the firm with a unique capacity to build business partnerships. He has a strong understanding of the evolving regulatory environment that retirement industry players must navigate.”
In addition to being responsible for the delivery of sales and revenue goals of KRS, Sweatman will work alongside other members of the executive team. Sweatman will also be responsible for KRS product development and marketing communications planning and execution. This will include new product development for additional revenue producing services, revamping traditional services to meet new regulatory or market conditions, and working with Keane’s Business Solutions team to ensure KRS is meeting all appropriate customer and market opportunities and demands.
Sweatman began his career at The Keane Organization in 2002 within the ICRS division.
