Sunrocket.com Launches Redesigned Website

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sunrocket.com, a leading global Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Information and Broadband Information Aggregator, has launched a completely redesigned website. The new user interface (UI) was put together in response to information provided by its users and research data from an internet market research firm.

The domain was previously owned by SunRocket, Inc. (“SunRocket”), an internet telephony company that provided a service similar to Vonage. SunRocket closed down its global operations in July 2007 following failed attempts to raise additional money from the investment community. Management made a general assignment (of its assets) for the benefit of creditors to an affiliate of a business consulting and advisory services firm that continues to handle the estate from its offices in Mountain View, California.

A private equity firm purchased the domain and related trademarks from the estate earlier this year for an undisclosed amount. Sunrocket.com has aligned with industry information resources and leading providers like Phone Power, AT&T, via talk, Lenovo and eFax. The website delivers comprehensive industry information and direct access to industry leading communication service providers. The domain has been included in an information network of various technology and CleanTech initiatives.
