Dow Coating Materials Highlights New Designed Diffusion Technology for Waterborne Latex Coatings at VILF Jahrestagung in Neu-Isenburg, Germany
HORGEN, Switzerland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dow Coating Materials, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, will introduce a significant new waterborne latex film formation technology at the VILF Jahrestagung held 29-30 October in Neu-Isenburg, Germany. The paper entitled “Designed Diffusion – a Paradigm Shift in Film Formation” will be delivered on 30 October by Michael Vogel, Dow Coating Materials Marketing Manager Industrial Coatings EMEA.
“Our new Designed Diffusion technology significantly improves the early property development of waterborne latex coatings while addressing the challenges of the low VOC formulation landscape”
“Our new Designed Diffusion technology significantly improves the early property development of waterborne latex coatings while addressing the challenges of the low VOC formulation landscape,” said Vogel. “The new technology balances coatings properties through careful design of the polymer system and the selection of a coalescent package with unique partition coefficient and diffusion rate between different phases of the polymer system. We will present detailed evidence of Designed Diffusion technology performance, including analytical, physical and application data.”
Attendees of this prestigious, members-only Congress can learn more about practical applications for the Designed Diffusion technology – as well as the full breadth and depth of Dow’s capabilities and services for the global coatings industry – at the Dow Coating Materials booth. Dow is also sponsoring the Vincentz Coating Award this year.
“This conference is a great opportunity for Dow Coating Materials experts to meet with VILF members to discuss their biggest challenges and concerns, recent R&D trends and developments,” said Olivier Choulet, Sales Director Western Europe and MEA, Dow Coating Materials. “We want make sure Germany’s top coating industry professionals know that we’re dedicated to solving their problems and meeting their needs in an increasingly demanding global marketplace.”
