Pacer International and Its Employees Raise $37,969 for Tsunami Relief

CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 2005--Responding to the devastating Asian earthquake and tsunami of December 26 that has claimed more than 200,000 lives to date, Pacer International, Inc. (Nasdaq:PACR), the North America logistics and freight transportation provider, said its 1,700 employees have raised $18,969 for humanitarian relief efforts. The company contributed an additional $19,000, resulting in a combined contribution from Pacer and its employees of $37,969 to the International Response Fund of the American Red Cross.
