Pacer International Slates ``Investor`s Day`` Web Cast for August 10
The Web cast will consist of a series of presentations by senior company executives that explain the individual lines of business of Pacer International as well as the inter-relationships and synergies between them. The businesses to be discussed include Pacer's wholesale operations, including Pacer Stacktrain and Pacer Cartage; and the retail operations, including Pacer Global Logistics' rail and highway brokerage divisions, and other business units.
"The company has a unique business model among logistics and transportation providers; it has achieved significant operating integration and leverage between its wholesale and retail activities," according to Mike Uremovich, vice chairman of Pacer International. "We are building the company and achieving substantial internal growth on the basis of these and other strengths."
He said the Web cast will also illuminate Pacer's vision and strategies for each of its businesses and for the company as a whole.
The Web cast, consisting of streaming audio and video, can be accessed on Pacer's Web site at www.Pacer-International.com by going to the Investor Relations page and selecting "Events Calendar."
