Pacer International Schedules First Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call for May 6, and Announces Location of First Annual Meeting

CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Pacer International (Nasdaq:PACR), the North American logistics and transportation provider, today announced the time and location of its first Annual Meeting of Shareholders since becoming a public company last June. Pacer also announced a conference call to discuss the company's first-quarter results for 2003. Both events will take place on Tuesday, May 6.

The Annual Meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time at the New York Hilton Hotel, 1335 Avenue of the Americas in New York City on May 6. The conference call for investors, analysts, business and trade media and other interested parties, will be held the same day at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The actual results will be released three hours earlier via Business Wire at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Hosting the conference call will be Don Orris, chairman and chief executive officer, Pacer International; and Larry Yarberry, the company's chief financial officer.
