WAYNE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MEDecision, Inc., a leading provider of collaborative health care management solutions, today announced that it has added four new senior executives to its core management team in keeping with its steadfast drive to build a healthy, high-performing culture and deliver the next phase of health care reform.
The new members of the MEDecision executive management team include:
- Carole A. Hodsdon, executive vice president and chief technology officer
- Stephen M. Decker, senior vice president of client operations
- Thomas P. DeGemmis, senior vice president of new business sales
- Elizabeth S. Sanford, senior vice president of account management
Together, they bring more than 60 years of experience in health care, operations, sales, enterprise technology, account management, customer service and related areas to MEDecision.
“Today, we are rallying around the delivery of health care reform for the next generation,” said Scott A. Storrer, president and COO at MEDecision. “Carole, Steve, Tom and Liz are experienced and accomplished executives who will be key contributors to our team. Bringing them aboard ensures that we have top talent across our management group to hasten our momentum and guide us toward our health care reform goals.”
MEDecision also recently augmented its already-solid core team with an influx of new talent featuring deep expertise and diverse health care and technology backgrounds. Among them are employees of HxTechnologies, Inc., a health information exchange company that MEDecision acquired earlier this month. Further strengthening the team are new hires who have joined MEDecision after tenures with such organizations as Capital One, CIGNA, Deloitte, GE Healthcare, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, IBM, Landacorp, Siemens Medical, Trizetto, and United Health Group.
“Supporting the technological transformation mandated in President Obama’s health care reform plan, MEDecision will continue to invest in its near- and long-term growth potential,” said Storrer. “The greatest enabler of innovative growth is top talent married with a healthy, high performing culture. In particular, the company adheres to the principles of Senn Delaney, a firm widely recognized as the leading international authority and successful practitioner of shaping culture to enhance the spirit and performance of organizations.”
