Work Schedule (days/hours of position):
The Contract Administrator position is a part-time, 20 hour/week position. However, there is potential to work more hours per week as needed.
Job Description:
The Contract Administrator role assists the Legal Department in the delivery of a range of legal services with a primary focus on managing the administration of and processing the company's out-bound sales agreements.
Duties include reviewing, drafting, and negotiating sales agreements and will include vendor, marketing, and affiliate agreements as needed; creating contract summaries, coordinating the distribution and tracking of fully signed agreements, and management of the contract database; provide guidance, expertise, and assistance to Sales in the construction of contracts; organize contracting process and administration of company contract files; management of existing contracts including tracking expiration and special terms; work closely with management to enforce compliance with company policies and procedures related to contracts.
Responsibilities may also include conducting research, tracking, and gathering documents in response to third party subpoenas.
Job Requirements:
Experience working with and negotiating contracts either in either a law firm or in-house setting; Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal Certification a plus.
Must be able to understand complex agreements and legal terms.
