With the Smart Marketing Page product suite, you get the following distributions for one flat fee:

  • A Smart News Release sent to our National circuit and including your company logo and up to six fully-downloadable photos, videos or other multimedia assets. You can add additional multimedia assets for $100 each.
  • Posting of your press release and all multimedia assets to EON: Enhanced Online News, our web-optimized news site.
  • HTML email distribution to up to 100 addresses provided by you.
  • A Smart Marketing Page customized to meet your specifications and designed to showcase your company's products and services on a search engine optimized platform.

In order for us to process your Smart Marketing Page product bundle as quickly as possible, please follow the guidelines and workflow noted below. If you have any questions during the process, please contact your local Business Wire office.

Multimedia Requirements

(only applicable if you'd like to use a custom graphic for your Smart Marketing Page header)

Logo .jpg, .bmp or .gif
Photo/Graphic .jpg, .bmp or .gif. We prefer .jpg files, 300 dpi/ppi and 8x10 inches in size. We do not accept images embedded in a Word document. Files that are .eps may be submitted but are not recommended, as they may result in a font substitution that differs from your original.
Video .mpg, .wmv, .mov, .avi, .asf, .mp4 or .dv (unstreamed only)
Audio .mp3, .2av, .aac, .aif or .wma
Slideshow Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt)
Animation Adobe Flash (.swf)
Spreadsheet Microsoft Excel (.xls) or Chart (.cht)
Document Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc), ASCII text (.txt), or Rich Text (.rtf)

Large Multimedia File Upload

For files larger than 40KB, please contact your local Business Wire office and the Photo Desk will be able to assist you with the upload process.

What to Expect

  • The turnaround time for the Smart Marketing Page is three business days from the point that the Smart Marketing Page order form and additional items are received by Business Wire. The press release, multimedia assets and email list are submitted via Business Wire Connect. Please make note that you've submitted or plan to submit the Smart Marketing Page order form in the special instructions field.
  • Your local Business Wire office is your main point of contact for any questions you have before submitting your Smart Marketing Page order form or other items.
  • Once your order is submitted, you will be in direct contact with the Web Support team building your Smart Marketing Page as well the local newsroom that is preparing your Smart News Release, EON: Enhanced Online News release and HTML email blast.
  • If you wish to include additional multimedia assets after the initial Business Wire Connect submission, please do so via email after alerting your local newsroom.
