Dentsu Network Announces the Appointment of Dick van Motman as Chairman & CEO of Dentsu Asia

NEW YORK--()--Dentsu Network announced today the appointment, effective October 15, 2012, of Dick van Motman as CEO of Dentsu Asia Pte. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dentsu Inc. Dentsu Asia, a regional management company under the umbrella of the Dentsu Network organization of operations outside of Japan, oversees operations in the ASEAN and Oceania region.

van Motman, who obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Organizational Management from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, has spent over 20 years in senior account and regional management positions at DMB&B, Leo Burnett and DDB in various European & Asian markets. Most recently he was President & CEO of DDB Group, Greater China. He began his career in 1989 in his native Netherlands.

In his new role, van Motman will be responsible for Dentsu Network operations in the ASEAN & Oceania region, reporting to Dentsu Network President and CEO, Tim Andree. He will also be a member of the global Operating Committee.
