“In the 41 years since the company’s establishment, Delta has been committed to its mission: 'To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow',” said Dr. Herman Chang, General Manager of Delta’s Charging and Microgrid Solutions Business Unit. "Delta also announced its new “Smarter. Greener. Together.” brand slogan to partners worldwide at Hannover in April. For example, our CHAdeMO certified Delta DC Quick Charger exceeds the standard by achieving energy efficiency of 95%.”
The DC Quick Charger manufactured by Delta is CHAdeMO certified and capable of efficiently providing 50–500V DC/50kW, allowing it to fully charge a passenger electric vehicle in less than thirty minutes. With an RFID reader for authorization and a 12” LCD touch-screen the Quick Charger is a fully managed solution with the ability to update drivers on charging status using their mobile devices.
Suitable for residential and commercial use, Delta’s SAE J1772 compliant AC charger is designed to be a compact, IP55 solution that uses minimal standby power and includes a convenient on-off switch for zero power consumption. It is available in a Smart model with integrated networking and RFID for access/billing management. The unit is suitable for wall, pole, or pedestal mounting to adapt to different installation requirements.
