RICHMOND, Va.--()--Scytl has been selected by the Federal Voting Assistance Program of the U.S. Department of Defense to provide a secure online ballot delivery and onscreen marking system under a program to support overseas military and civilian voters for the 2010 election cycle.
Scytl is one of the five companies selected to support this program. Scytl has been awarded 9 of the 20 States that agreed to participate in the program, making it the provider for the greatest number of states per participating firms.
The solution offered by Scytl will allow overseas voters to receive their ballots in a timely manner, and optionally, to use an onscreen wizard to make ballot selections in order to prevent voters from making errors. Ballots will be returned in accordance with their respective state laws.
